Thanks, R! Frankly, I know it's just a red baseball cap, but it is vintage, and I am seriously considering future ownership of another fedora besides the grey Dobbs I still own. I'm still a thin ribbon man at heart. Vintage baseball caps are just cheaper, and right now cheap for me is good...
Liked parts of it. Not others. It was like an orange with seeds, you have the flavor and the annoying parts, too. Kept looking at Indy's fedora and feeling very happy for Steve Delk. The hat looked great even when it was being abused.

Re-Worked as a reunion hat, minor changes
Did a little hand lettering and decided it would qualify either as a cap worn during service,or reunion. Dropped the homestate "MICH" because I might redo it differently. The "41" would refer to the "victor" number of the plane. I would conider this cap...
A pet theory I have on this involves ratios. If the brim is 1 1/2", a ribbon of greater width will probably not be as sucessful, i.e., I prefer a less than 1:1 ratio ribbon to brim or 1:2 more ideally, or less, on the case of an Open road which is traditionally 3/8" ribbon to 2 3/4" to 3"...
