I never saw any of his movies, so I knew nothing about him but his name. I learned of his death right here. I wish his family well.
Rest in Peace, Heath.

Indycop is right! These are fantastic, BRANDX! Absolutely beautiful! You have captured the style. Show us more! :eusa_clap
Lady Day! I love your caricatures! You said these were a cartoon. As in a strip? Something I'll see on TV to end my mourning of the passing of Animaniacs? ;) Keep them...
Cute kitty, ugly (but cute) habit. :D
Twice, so far, little Starlet - as yet unseen by the Lounge - has managed to wake me before the alarm by way of unsuccessfully leaping over my head. You know it’s going to be a bad day when it begins with a cat stomping on your eye.

While wandering around Huntington Library today, I found this placed just where you see it. I snapped at it from a few angles, brought it home and played around in Photoshop a bit. My first (successful) project that wasn't a lesson out of a magazine. :)
Unmolested...
Tattoo - Originally, no. But I've learned to accept it as such.
TV screenwriting - As I've been saying for years, "An artist creates an image to inspire the mind. A writer inspires the mind to create an image." The screenwriter inspires the work of the production crew. So yes, it is art...
This picture makes me wonder why I spent so many years trying not to be attracted to redheads! This picture also makes me glad I changed my mind. ;):D

Not bad. I've changed a few of them, but i'm doing pretty well with them. :)
I'm learning Photoshop faster than I'd expected. I've been picking up Digital Photo magazine (a UK publication), and every issue includes a CD ROM filled with Photoshop (and Photoshop Elements) exercises. All these...
When my best friend, Russ, got married, his bachelor party consisted of Russ, his brother, me and a few other friends at Dave and Busters. That was what Russ wanted, and we all had a good time. :)

You reminded me of a man I knew, Jeff, who had a major crush on his own wife. One afternoon, a few of our coworkers approached and asked us if we wanted to join them at the bar, "So you don't have to go home to the wife."
Jeff answered, "I married my wife because I want to be with her."

Or just boldly approach her and say, "Oh, why can't we break away from all this, just you and I, and lodge with my fleas in the hills? I mean, flee to my lodge in the hills."

ANY kind of steak!
But I must confess that I love a T-bone the way my father cooked them: garlic, salt and pepper, fried fast.
A So. Cal. chain, Norms, Makes them exactly the same way. So getting one there tastes like father's home cooking. :)

Lovely, lovely ladies all! :)
Tim, prepare yourself for that shoot! The first shoot I did with a professional model went far longer than I'd expected. I had a high-key idea that would have taken about an hour, one twenty-four exposure roll of film and one outfit on the model. The shoot ended...
Very interesting, VB! It tool me a couple moments to realize that both pictures were of the same subjects! Then I spent a little time trying to figure out who most of them folded. Some were easy, though. :D
Some beautiful specs! Good deal!

I wish I had a better picture, but Constance Bennett's 1930 Rolls-Royce Phantom II/Town Car, which is a part of the Nethercutt Collection in Sylmar, Ca., is my favorite vintage movie car. This picture was taken at the collection. (Photography is allowed at the museum, but not at San Sylmar.)...
