The family that shoots together . . . lol
Sunny, I've been reading and viewing this post with delight. Quite a coollection of wonderful items you folks have. (Yes, I know I typoed "collection." But once I saw what I'd typed I decided it was nicely descriptive. :D)
And where'd you get...
This is my current desktop photo. I took the picture at a car show a few months ago and then, a few weeks ago, I learned how to put it in the mask. It's been up since.

Not me, but a neighbor: About twenty years ago they found an old sketch at a yard sale and, looking at the signature and still having doubts, they decided to take a chance and paid the twenty dollars the seller asked for. A short time later they had it appraised. It turned out it really was by...
I was searching YouTube for anything Robert Benchley when I found this funny cartoon. Role-reversal, film noir style. :D

Hmmm . . . What Movies Haven't I Seen?
The Godfather, Part . . . all of them. My recent interest in the Mob was tempting me to see any one of them until I read Divid Fisher's book, Joey the Hitman - The Autobiography of a Mafia killer. (It's an autobiography because Fisher recorded interviews...
Not to mention mildly humorous and very distinctive. I can be in another room, and I know it's a Tanqueray ad the moment I hear Sinclair's voice.

But, is he real or is he a character?
I found my Holy Grail last June. . . .

I'm in need of new spectacles - although not for my prescription, thankfully - and after seeing this I just may look into getting some. I had several worries, but you folks have shown them to be quite unfounded.
I would, though, attach a catch cord. Because I think that'd be an interesting...
More smiles from Lady Day. :)
I've been experimenting with my D-PNS in preparation for my D-SLR. I shot this behind where I work. I underexposed by two-thirds of a stop and set the camera's white balance to incandesant. Then I adjusted the contrast using curves in Photoshop.
Going Home...
It was about two minutes before the alarm. lol
She's the sweetest cat one could meet. If you reach down to pet her, she'll meet you halfway. When she does that, I call her our "prairie dog kitty."

'Twasn't me, Sally. It was my coworker at the time, Jeff, who said that. I've never been married, but to me, wanting to be with the woman I love would be one of the major reasons for getting married. I wouldn't marry a woman I didn't want to be with. Someday I'll meet her. :)

Flowers aren't gifts. Flowers come with the gift. Flowers are a promisory note that a gift is forthcoming.
What would I want for Valentine's Day? Let's see . . . as for a gift, the same as I've always wanted for Christmas: something I can actually use that I also want. Something for the...
