Looks like I'll be taking your third option. Except for the nasty funk part, since going out for New Years Eve is something I rarely do anyway. lol

A beautiful room, Solid Citizen. I especially like those palm tree lamps and the angel fish. You've done an incredible job.
What's that car in your avatar?
From The Bahooka: 2007 was their 40th anniversary, so I got these tiki mugs. Our future sister-in-law bought one for my brother. He...
Thank you. My mother is one of the sweetest people you could meet. (No, folks, I'm not trying to start a "My Mother is Sweeter Than Your Mother" fracas! :D) Just got home from dinner with her and a few other family members, and a future family member, mere moments ago. I love her dearly.
I'm...
My favorite is this one of my parents holding my older brother. Mark was born fifty-one years ago today, December 30. Yes, he was born with a lot of hair (he still has it thinned when he goes to the barber), and my mother told me that, while she was in the hospital (through New Year's day)...
I'm heading to The Bahooka tomorrow, for my older brother's birthday. He worked there back in the mid seventies. Great place! I couldn't give it a higher recommendation. We go at least once a year. :)
While looking for their website, I found this one, Tikizone. Turns out there's a link to The...
Well, the cold I thought was going to take over my NYE has not materialized, thank goodness, so I'm up for anything. :) Knowing me, though, I'll probably be at home watching TV while wandering around the web (most likely right here in the Lounge.)
I'm looking forward to 2008...
Very much like a quote of mine from years ago, Mr. Lucky: "The power of the human mind is limited only by the human mind." - Me
With the corollary, "The only way to get the job done is to get up and do it." - also Me

Go for it, Chas! I'm making a big change in my life, too, but with photography. I spent ten years being deliriously happy with it as a hobby, and bordered on going professional, but then quit for another ten. Through the years it's been pacing the backstage of my head, waiting to make a curtain...
I have no clue.
Unfortunately, I feel like I'm coming down with my third cold in as many months. That's really odd, for me, as I rarely catch colds. Maybe it'll be gone by the 31st and I can do something. One can hope! :)

Great site, Foofoo! I clicked the link and within moments found a photographer group in the Los Angeles area. I've joined and will "meet up" with them soon. :)
Thanks!

The Marx Brothers have been my favorite troupe since I first saw them as a child. . . . I was the child, of course, not them. I like them so much that I have read maybe ten books on them (The only one who doesn't seem to have a biography is Zeppo, and I've looked.) There isn't a moment in any of...
Allen Sherman is one of my favorites when it comes to musical humor (followed closely by Tom Lerher), but I had no idea there was a game based on his Camp Granada song, Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh.
Has anyone ever seen this game in person? I'd like to know what it's all about.
