"to achieve that vintage look all our designs are taken from original 1940's knitting patterns and are also knitted on an original 1940’s mechanical knitting machine"
oh my god, i'm dying here. i have to get one of these sweaters, STAT!
i love frederick's bras - well, mostly just one. it's one of the super-shiny satin ones. i wore those before my breast reduction, and i still do now - just in smaller sizes of course! they are so uplifting, not too uncomfortable, and really affordable and go on sale often.
sarahlouise, i am DYING over your new catalog!!! i only have a 1944 montgomery wards one, which is cool, but obviously not as cool as 1941-42.
awesome ring, too!
exactly. it amazes me how up-in-arms people get about open relationships. it's definitely not for everyone, but it has its merits and works really well for some people. to each, their own!
whole wheat, brown rice, or quinoa pastas are definitely healthy for you. i think the spinach ones tend to be mostly plain old refined flour, though. i find if i cook the whole-grain pastas a bit longer, they taste better. you can also ween yourself onto them by mixing them half-and-half with...
for some reason it's only offered on fridays! which is the one day i absolutely cannot make it to campus! it's cheaper to take it privately though, than to pay for a one-credit class.
i've thought about doing the bento box thang but i'm so lazy about packing lunches. i could probably save a bundle though, and ensure healthy food when i hate the special at my school's vegetarian cafe!
i've thought about bellydancing, too. now that my school schedule's set for the quarter...
grasshoppers!
some of them look super-vintage-playshoe-esque. they're made by keds. i've never worn a pair, but the ones i've seen in person look SUPER comfortable.
*nods* i'm sitting here munching on a very high-fat food - all natural roasted nuts - and i couldn't care less. it's not a freaking snickers bar and cherry coke! i'm too active to eat LESS... i just need to be eating better stuff.
the doing things twice-as-long idea is good - i'm the master...
adele, don't fret too much... it seems like it was much too fragile to really wear. could you imagine if you had won it and it fell apart on you the first time you wore it??? then you'd be heartbroken... and broke.
sooooo... who are my fellow procrastinators out there?
what are you procrastinating right now?
me:
- taking out the trash & recycling
- rearranging the living room to remove the gaping hole left by the christmas tree's departure
- grad school application stuff!
burgerville is my one fast food guilty pleasure (except when i'm visiting CA, then it's in-n-out)! i am now drooling thinking about their spicy black-bean burger and chocolate shakes.
i've never seen a steak n shake, but i think i'd be more into the second half than the first!
i cuss like a sailor. i can turn it off like a switch though - which is lucky, being that i'm a nanny; training to be a teacher; and just spent a week with my SO's parents ;)
