i love having the lounge so i can ask questions like this! has anyone posted a solution? how are people applying it, or should i just thin it out more? unfortunately i don't have the time to do my hair very often, so if i can get tips it helps cut down on the mistakes of just trying things on my...
how long do you think it took to make your snoods, and how much constant thought went into it? are you counting each stitch you make, or is it more mindless? i was thinking about how much i need to make one, as i was walking to the bus in the rain and my curls was dying a little more with each...
great hairdo's, everyone!
i did a quick set with my hotsticks before school today. i used too much setting lotion and didn't leave them in long enough, and then it rained on my way to the bus... yet i still have a little curl left!!! i think next time i get my hair cut it's going to be about...
ggg, have you tried adding more avocados and other (healthy) fats? there's a south african nutrition expert who advocates a mostly raw diet. she recommends 2 avocados a day if you're trying to maintain weight, but just 1 if you're trying to lose! :eusa_clap maybe you could eat three? haha!
i too am glad i live at a time when i can choose what to wear! it seems like, depending on the item of clothing and my weight, some high-waisted things look great, some look horrible, some make it look like my boobs sag down to my navel (they DON'T, for the record!), etc. and the same goes for...
how funny, i was thinking about starting a thread about perms this morning!
i'm thinking about getting one. my hair is a little below shoulder length, very fine, and very straight. i have some subtle layers and the back is cut in a slight U-shape. what do you think?
i don't think i've seen it posted, but i read that Dita von Teese is going to be designing a line of undergarments for Wonderbra!!! i can't wait to see them!
*wait, i just reread it.... what's this about the UK and France?!
here are some pretty accurate repro wedges from j. jill! on sale, no less! they're out of the 7.5-8 size, but have one size smaller and 2 bigger!
drat... the image didn't work.
i've sung most of my life. not so much lately (except karaoke) but i'd love to get back into it!
i played flute for several years as a teenager.
right now i'm mastering the recorder. i'm in school to be an elementary teacher and my music class requires it. there's nothing more...
sunny (and everyone), it's so helpful, as a beginning-ish sewer, to read stuff like this, because now i know what features to AVOID when choosing patterns for myself in the near future. something like that would frustrate me terribly!
sunny, your outfits look fantastic as well!
wow, i really wish i could make more time to work on sewing. actually, that's one of my new years resolutions! :D
i use a wallet from queenbee creations. mine is brown with a cute cupcake stitched on! it was made in the pacific northwest and i've been using it for two years now. i love it.
when i'm doing my hair, i usually use hot sticks AND a curing iron. i always end up with a few spots that need some perking up or rounding out, so i use the curling iron for that. I also sometimes use it for making little rolls and things, especially since my hair is so un-bendy i can't get the...
