Mineral make-up doesn't have any additives (or shouldn't, anyway) unlike most cosmetics. The brand I use is made up of crushed minerals free of preservatives, oils, talc, fragrance, and other skin irritants. It's formulated so people who have skin sensitivities/allergies/etc are able to use it...
I want to retract my statement about the Avon nail polish strips I posted about - can't remember if it was this thread or another nail polish thread. I stated that I loved this stuff because it was easy to apply and you didn't have to wait for it to dry and risk smudging or goofing it up, which...
I shudder to think which Midwest state this might be...I could see it coming from Indiana, though. People around here just don't seem to have any sense of fun or being unique (not everyone, but most people). The thing that bothers me most is that any one who tries to break away from the "norm"...
I hope y'all don't mind that I'm living vicariously through you :) I'm not buying any thing else until I completely give up on sewing a skirt and until I loose a little weight...and let's just say, at this rate I'll never buy anything again!
Daisy, those green shoes are fabulous!! I am so...
Daisy, thanks for that link...
Nicoletta, I hope everything turns out well for you - do keep us posted on what you find out with your tests and things. And I was just re-reading the description of your purchase - sounds absolutely divine!!
I know how it feels to live with a digestive disorder - granted not nearly the scope of Daisy's illness! There are days when I have to plan my activities around it, and have missed many important events because of it. I remember when my doctor told me I had IBS, I cried! She thought that was...
Is any one else getting a pop-up to sign in to MSN when visiting this site? I've just noticed it today; no rhyme or reason to it really. Just pops up and asks me to sign in to .NET Passport.
Is it just me? [huh]
Yep, that's exactly what is happening. I wasn't sure if I had something wrong when I threaded it...some times those manuals are hard to follow (either that or I'm just dense)!
You ladies are so wonderful for all your helpful advice! I just wanna give y'all a big hug!!
*drools* ummm...what was the question? Oh, right - taking the dress *gulp* apart to make a pattern... I have no idea. :p
I am just now learning to sew with my machine. Haven't mastered anything fantabulous just yet...working on making a leopard print clutch/wallet type thing. Made a practice...
The only one I've ever used is Bare Minerals. I know it isn't for everyone, but for me it's the only make-up that I can say I love. Instead of just covering up the skin, it actually improves it. They make the claim its safe to sleep in which I can totally vouch for. I'm terrible at remembering...
Oh, he fits in there....see, I have a few different categories of handsome/sexy/good-looking...I suppose this goes along with that other thread about the differences between being handsome and being attractive...the more I think about it, the more confusing it becomes!
Rugged...
Not sure if this is something you can modify to suit your needs (what am I talking about - of course you can! You're a sewing goddess!!) but I found this the other day posted to Craftster.org
Easy Garter Belt/Suspender Belt Tutorial
and also this, not a garter belt, but undies (and cute...
This probably doesn't help you since I can't find them on the site now, but Torrid.com used to sell inserts that were supposed to keep your feet/shoes from sliding. I'm searching frantically for them, but can't seem to remember what brand they were! Umm.....FOOT PETALS! That's it! I knew it...
