Those are lovely, Pink Dahlia. I recently bought some silk flowers to make a couple barettes - my hubby laughed at me when he saw the rose peeking out of the bag. He teased me, saying, if I really wanted flowers that bad, all I had to do was say the word and he'd buy me real ones. lol I told him...
Nothing vintage has been made yet...
...but I make way too many things and wanted to share with other who might appreciate them! These are two prayer beads I made last night/this morning...

No clue how I missed this thread the first time around!
I turned 25 this year (Jan 1). I am looking forward to see what life has to offer, and what I have to offer life.
 Scary eyes!! lol
Haven't really bought many new things...a pencil skirt at Kohl's (I just love it when I find gift cards while cleaning out my wallet!) and some cute wedges that I posted in the "Cute Vintagey Shoes" thread. I am having fun living through all you gals...shop away, my...
Wow, this is always a painful thread to go through when you're trying to abstain from shoe shopping!
I just bought these little lovelies at Torrid:
Daisy, while I was debating which shoes to get, I found these...not sure if it's something you'd wear, but I know how hard it is to find...
Oooh, you all are making it very hard to not want a pet right now!!
We aren't home enough to justify having any kind of pet - I am a dog girl through and through; I just melt every time I see one! About two years ago we (ok, I) took in a stray beagle. He was the sweetest thing ever, but just...
Thank you for posting those photos, Nina! My hair looks about like yours does - short and with layers. I was getting frustrated trying to make sure they were all tucked in! After looking at your remarkable 1st attempt, I will give it another try!
A very quick search on the good 'ol Internet shows this site...

Hopefully that will point you in the right direction!
Ooh, Kat, thanks for sharing! I really like the little cat on your chest.
If I ever did get a tattoo, I think I'd get one of these...I love Amy Brown's artwork. Her faeries are breathtaking, IMO.
Eh, I'm a little late in seeing this, but thought I'd mention it anyway...I recently found a site called MyTights.com and low and behold they have contrast seam tights and stockings available, if you're still looking for some. I won't post a link as some of the images are a little racy, but if...
I second Paisley's list...in fact, I'm wearing chocolate brown and rose pink today. Lots of colors go great with browns, but I think people often over look it because it's not that "fun" of a color. I love brown with spring-like colors (not too pastel, but YMMV)...corals, greens, ocean blues...
I would be fascinated to see some of your designs, ladies (obviously if you're willing to share and if they are in an appropriate place)! I know that some can be very personal, and I understand that. I just love looking at them, though!
Has any one watched the show "Inked?" I caught one...
I too planned my wedding on a very tight budget. My dress was the most expensive purchase at $300, followed by the DJ and the flowers (for just the wedding party and special people who helped us out). The reception was held at an armory because we could use it for free since my uncle was in the...
