Last weekend we went to what was supposed to be a vintage fair, but didn't in fact have a lot of vintage and was quite craft-focussed. I wore a green Horrockses with polka dots, a cream hat, shoes and bag. As soon as I walked in I got lots of compliments from stallholders, had my pictured taken...
I recently bought these Clarks brogues and absolutely adore them, they are so comfy and dainty (even though the stock photo makes them look clunky, they aren't):
I love them so much I also got the black and white, and may love these even more.
Hahahaha, that is priceless! I once went on a date with a guy who said he was going to cook me a meal at his place. He "cooked" a jacket/baked potato in the microwave and served it with baked beans. Made me feel so special.
Oh, Miss Sofia, so sorry to hear that! I know of at least two ladies who have been in the same predicament in the last week, being stood up by dates. At least you know right off the bat that the person wasn't worth it, but I understand it is depressing regardless. It is his loss! Your outfit...
^I hate to even compare, but Topshop seems to have a lot of blouses just like this and in the same colour ways this fall. Maybe check them out.
ETA: Something along these lines...
Some big claims, but I thought it was interesting to read nonetheless:

They are denim with stretch, like that really dark indigo denim, and quite strong but comfy. They come in three lengths. They also have the high waisted style in a black corduroy, but for some reason the cords gaped at the waist on me while the sailor ones don't. Let me know what you think once...
I have now tried them on today and they are really great! They call them military jeans on the webite, but they really are more like sailor pants, with a straight leg and i a nice dark blue with a bit of stretch. Definitely on my wishlist now.
I just read this story and it warmed my heart, so I thought some of you ladies may like it:)

UK ladies, I have just come across these and they look promising, although I haven't seen them in person:
