Strangest coincidence, just after seeing your post I was driving through from Kingston to Richmond. And drove right past it! Murrays is in Ham near to where the old British Aerospace factory was isn't it? I'd never noticed it before. But their sign is pretty distinctive.
Well I was on a little trip into London today, spotted 2 brown and one black fedoras, teardrop crowns and wide enough brims not to be called trilbys.
Each was worn with a long wool coat.
MK, I thought you were over here to work?
The apostrophe comment reminds me that Lynne Truss has a lot to answer for. She's made us paraniod about it.

Warren Mitchell (Who plays Alf Garnett) is jewish, he is being satirical. Unfortuanately part of the audience don't realise this. There are stories of him being highly upset at live performances when racists go to 'support' the jokes not realising they are the ones being ridiculed.
"Mitchell...
Possibly, but it's the Timberlake types doin' it. And wearing them very small and at an angle! More like the Hoffmeister bear. Might be a mini thing like when Madonna was wearing one.
That was excellent, I really felt that way this morning.
I live in London, during the holiday i managed to slip an hour later to bed each night and to get up each morning from reading the forum. So this morning ended up essentially on New York time having to get up on GMT! Self imposed jet...
I've just got an Akubra Federation and am very pleased with it and at the price!

Ah, Hem! 41 years of history shot down with one line! Many, many people would disagree with you. Maybe try and watch some of the latest series and then go back and look at the classics. :) Look past the dodgy sets and cheap costumes, some of the stories are amazing.
Arrgh, "Monarch of the Glen"...
Well I'm a graphic designer so I'm going to be biased. It's Mac all the way for me. There is nothing I want to do that I can't do faster and easier on a Mac.
OSX is a good couple of generations ahead of Windows and Longwait is still well, stillborn... if you haven't used a Mac recently there...
Mr. Charles suits him, he looks like a characterful cat!
I have a friend with a cat called Cthulhu, it's named ironically I think cos its a tiny round bundle of fluff.
Hi there, I'm one of those strange folk from COW, heard you were a great bunch here after the recent cross pollination at the QM and thought I'd pop in have a nose around if that's ok?
I've already jumped in on a couple of threads that were too enticing and forgot to say hi in my haste!
Ok, I was kind of struggling for the right word. I hate knitted cuffs, they remind me of the sweaters I had to wear as a kid in the 70's... and the jackets! Make me feel like the kid in Everyone Hates Chris.
I love the barrel cuffs on a Wested Raiders epecially with a bit of taper to make...
The Wested lamb is a great jacket in the style of the Adventurer. It's perfect for spring and autumn and even our cooler summers! I like it very much.
But it is not good for cold weather, it's around 0?Ǭ?C here in London recently and I need a warmer jacket. But I have a couple of problems...
I think many people here will like the look at least of the new film. The Daily Planet is very Deco and unlike the 70-80's movies Singer has deliberately tried to avoid modern clothing - it really dated those films. There's a lot of 40's 50's styling and some of the chararacters will sport trilbys.
