Fantastic photos, everybody!
We went to medieval fair in a tiny village out in the middle of no-where.
I had to try some spiced wine:
I got a little tight and the sheriff (or shire reeve) clapped me in irons:eek:
But I got out of jail in time to find my family again:
I went through airport security in France last April to come back to the States on vacation; they were strict but polite. American security were impolite and dis-organized. The 9-11 attacks don't excuse unprofessional behaviour on the part of airport security.
I had to go to Paris to-day; here I am at the station just before getting on the train:
And here I am when I realize that my train is leaving without me:eek:  :
I like the Saxon; I have one and I think it's a nice little hat. While I don't think it looks bad on you, I think a hat with a taller and less tapered crown would look even better. Unfortunately it's hard to find narrower-brimmed hats with nice, full crowns.
I love the way you shape your...

Here's a bad guy from the 1950s Superman series. I love the color combo; it looks like light-blue felt and a copper- or gold-colored ribbon. I choose to believe that it's a Stratoliner :D
Even though this is mid- to late-fifties, this fellow is still sporting the "Bold Look":
His...
Well, I was in the Navy for over four years, and I think it's a nice hat!:D
Also, the Campdraft has a wind-trolley that is functional and can help prevent your cover from going to Davy Jones' locker!
A typical sailing hat could be several different things. Most sailors now wear ball-caps, or...
Reading the your post again, I got to wondering if you meant "find the hat here locally". Can't help there, but if you're not going until the end of September, you've got time to order.
I'd suggest an Akubra Campdraft which you can order from Hats Direct. It's a tough and good-looking hat. Spray it down with fabric protector and put one of these pins on the bow:

Fair winds and following seas!
I would think a sporty button-down shirt would be fine with a suit, considering the fact that the modern lounge suit itself was considered casual wear when it was first created, appropriate for only the most informal activities.
Also, a double-breasted suit was less formal than a single...
