i got a department store voucher for my birthday and treated myself to some new and very expensive make up. i have very pale skin, but it leans towards the redder end - apparently i'm a trued 'English Rose' but i think she was just trying to be nice :D
anyway, i treated myself to Chanel...
i love everyone's hair.
i am just going to sound off for a minute, apologies for being off topic.
i am so upset with my hair right now. it is naturally curly, and is therefore very very dry. i could probably go long than a week between washes. i conditioner only wash and have recently had...
i originally wanted the dubonnet one Miss Sofia, but they didn't have it in my local shop (Liverpool). it is online, but the girl i was speaking to seemed to be under the impression it was 'online only' and therefore probably being discontinued. i love the colour of Extended Play, but it is a...
Heyday trousers!
yay! i got a pair of blue trousers from Heyday and i love them. they literally have not been off me since i got them lol!
just a question though - on the website it says they are easy washable, but there is a dry clean only label in them. has anyone ever just washed them in...
i just bought myself ANOTHER mac red lipstick! that brings the total to 4....mac only that is lol!
extended play, long-lasting wear. Katarina posted it a page ago.
and i love it. my absolute favourite colour so far. it is darker than Viva Glam 1 and Russian Red, and i truly believe it is...
i also have a Doreen, and it is very comfy. i does come up much higher in the front and back than i am used to though. i believe there is a lower cut version although i haven't tried it.
this is what i am HOPING to get on Friday for my birthday. i have cleared a space and everything! if it doesn't arrive, the other half can always get cracking on stripping the wallpaper - i live in a house full of boys i need a feminine boudoir!
if you have naturally curly hair, i would say go with the 'no shampoo' washing and only wet set. also DON'T brush out. since i have been doing this, my hair is in much much better condition. i have very dry hair and wash weekly, use minimal product and heat etc. i do brush out, but i tend to...

i don't have a middle name, and my intials are AS...puts me too much in mind of a pair of Ann Summers knickers i had many years ago!
i did have a lovely hankie as a child that my nan embroidered with just the A
thanks Lady Day.
is it easy to do buttonholes by hand? my button hole foot doesn't seem to want to work at all, but there are some patterns that without proper buttonholes simply won't work!
i'm guessing you just need to be very neat a precise - but do you sew then cut the holes, or cut...
Lillemor - i also really want Dubonnet, in my local shop they didn't have it. it's still on the website though, so i'm not sure if they are phasing it out or what. i was very disappointed i couldn't try it on though.
i find that it wears more in the corners to be honest, which isn't noticeable unless i'm puckering up!
however, i was wearing Viva Glam 1 (MAC) the other day, applied as i normally do with primer and lipcote etc, and then i had a greasy burger and all of it came off, bar a tiny little square...
i have just bought this:
(i hope this is ok to post, it is a finished auction).
i have no idea how vintage this is, if at all, it is obviously well loved but well cared for, but could just as easily be 5 years old as 45!
anyway, i love it, it fits me perfectly, i just don't get to wear...
i'm so glad this post got bumped, i would love to make a hat but i fear i may be overestimating the amount of time i have to fool around with things like that! lol
i have however, seen a fabulous crocheted hat pattern which i would love to get
i've never crocheted anything before in my...
