Used the can in Dover Castle about 40 years ago. The toilet paper wasn't in a roll and was dispensed sheet by sheet. Every single sheet was stamped: "Property of H.M. Government"!
I was a fan of Longmire as well although I found that the Denver investigation storyline was slowing things up a bit. Craig Johnson's books are even better than the TV series.
Thanks. I've made some amazing finds in thrift stores. Last year I found a book on the history of Toronto, signed by the author and, amazingly enough, inscribed as a gift from my aunt to my favourite uncle (both deceased for years now)...now that was bizarre.
All my finds have been made at...
I hope you're right...and it was an exciting place to work. I loved the proofroom...what a collection of amazing, intelligent and definitely quirky people. There were some truly fascinating eccentrics in there.

I've been a newspaper reader my whole life. My father worked for a major Canadian newspaper. My first summer job was as an office boy at the Toronto Star and my summer...
The film, 'The Railway Man', deals with the true story of a former POW confronting his Japanese torturer many years after the war. A powerful film and well worth watching.

This week I came across two interesting signed books: Luciano Pavarotti's My World and Tom Wolfe's I Am Charlotte Simmons. Love those thrift stores! Haven't got the patience right now to post photos. Photobucket loads unbelievably slow for me.
