As far as the hipster look, I like wearing my fedora with the brim up, but I don't think of it as a hipster look. I think more in terms of Archie Bunker and Ed Norton. :-) I guess I'm dating myself and if I mentioned those characters to a modern day hipster, they'd probably ask, "Who?"
Same here. I'm really casual. Mostly outdoorsy/woodsy (where I spend a lot of time). I think I end up stylish a few times a year, mostly by accident. :)
I'm so sorry for your loss Mike. Prayers going out for you and your family. Gotta take the days one at a time now. Your dad seemed to like a few of the same things that I do. Thanks to RBH for posting the obit.
No question everyone is right...bottom. It's just one of those things that looks right as soon as you see it, but for no particular reason. Maybe some sort of anchoring effect?
BTW, I like the hat. Nice find.

Wow, that looks nasty. Not many cars would win a battle against that vehicle. Don't get discouraged. Stick to your PT. Keep looking for improvements that will boost your spirits. I went through extensive physical therapy after a back operation that left me with nerve damage in my leg and foot. I...
Great work Moe. That's the exact shape I'm interested in when I order my hemp Milan (probably for spring at this point). I like how there isn't an extreme slope towards the back. Yours seems somewhat level. I think I might even send one of your pictures as an example when I order, if that's OK...
I was going to put my fist through mine, but it's not a boater. :-)
That's a beauty Bob. I don't think I've seen that one before. You are getting closer to selling me on white for a ribbon or pug, when I finally end up ordering my Hemp from Peters Brothers.
Andy
Yeah, I hear ya and that description certainly does not fit a Pharrell wannabe. :-)
Sad indeed. The young people today only think in terms of the group mentality...everything is 'viral' or 'trending', so they think everything everyone does is only because it's the style or trend. They can't...
Ginseng, sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Special hat! It's obvious that your dad was a special man. Great work by Bob. I really love the contrasting colors of the jade pin.
Andy
Moon...great hat (love the tight pinches) and terrific picture (the last one). I wish my beard had stayed as dark as yours, but I went suddenly and amazingly white over the last few years. I just tell people that I climbed the mountain and saw the burning bush. :-)
Andy
That first hat is perfect on you...style and color. Nice! Just curious, do you know if your friend was using a Lensbaby for the blur or is it more of a Photoshop thing?
Andy
Well that's pretty bad. Off topic...it reminds me of an old joke that bluegrass fiddle players tell. What's the difference between a fiddle and a violin? You don't spill beer on a violin. :-)
