    LOOKY LOOKY I know this isn't vintage, but it is the first piece I did to be worn in public. I made it for my daughter. It's her Easter dress. She picked out the fabrics and style of dress. I still need to make the jacket that goes with it.

    Here in Georgia it 27 degrees. No snow. I'm use to the cold but I have been spoiled over the last 3 years. We have had no snow. I do kinda miss it after living in Milwaukee for 15 years. I miss making snow people and sleding down very steep and dangerous hills with only liquid to warm you up...

    I just received my first Stop Staring dress. It is a perfect fit. I dont mind the fabric. It does feel a bit odd to the touch but it is comfy. I was worried about what I was going to get in the mail with all the mixed reviews, but I'm happy and so is my husband.

    Cute Vintage-y Shoes

    I'm looking for vintage-y shoes that not have a heel higher than 1 inch. I'm not allowed to be taller than my husband. I 've looked on different shoe site but I'm not sure if low heel shoes or flat are very vintage-y. Any suggestions be wonderful.

    Thank you. We diffently have enjoyed the ducks. Sitting out on the porch and watching them skanter around the back yard. They have personalities just like the dogs.

    I figured that was somewhat the norm. It's nice to know if you mess up you can start over again. My mom hasn't sewn on a machine in years. She is into the whole beading thing. She makes awesome jewelry. But any who, I look forward to making something I can wear.

    Welcome to our mini zoo Now I can't beat a sheep, but we have 2 dogs...Misty black lab, Butters english pinoter. 3 ducks...Big Ducky, Little Ducky, and Boy Ducky. 3 different aquirums total of 6 adult fish and a tank of baby fish. 1 rat named Emma.

The first pattern (not vintage) will be Pj's for my daughter. Are there any pointers/advice that would be good for sewing...
