The main reason I want to send it to Aero for trade in is that other than sleeve length and torso length, all the measurements are perfect.
I don't want to take the chance of measurements getting "lost in translation" between them and me.
However, I have been considering selling on eBay too.

The jacket is about 4 years old.
While it's close to perfect, like everybody, I'm looking for that perfect jacket.
I'm considering trading it in for another Highwayman with minor tweaks to make it perfect.
Has anybody traded in a jacket to Aero?
Approx how much can I expect to get for it?
And...
I have a brown Highwayman made with FQHH.
It's beautiful, except some panels are smooth, and some have developed nice graining.
Would it be more likely to get a jacket with even graining all over if it were made of the Vintage FQHH?
Other than pre-distressing, are there any other differences...
Very cool Major!
I've never seen a Pea Coat in Denim.
For someone like me, who happens to own and love an old wool one, I can see buying
a denim one also for warmer weather.

Beautiful jacket and perfect fit.
Just wondering why you went with Courderoy in the sleeves?
Doesn't that make it difficult to slip your arms in?
Lenny
I'm pretty much the same size as you, with 5 more lbs.
I bought a 40 from the mid to late 60's, and it fits perfectly.
These were meant to fit slimly, so buy your size.
Mine is actually a little tight across the shoulders and back when driving.
But, when standing and walking, it's perfect, and...
I consider myself a knife user more than a collector.
I've owned 2 of the Victorinox soldier knives as shown in your pic above.
I've owned Sebenzas, high end Spydercos and Benchmades, etc
The Soldier's I've owned have been every bit as good fit and finish wise as the high end knives I've owned...
OK, I'll throw my $.02 in too.
I've had a few Vansons in their competition weight leather (currently an Enfield)
I can't imagine any other leather being as thick and tough as this stuff.
It's the only leather I want on my body in case I go sliding along the tarmac after a quick get off.
Now, I'm...
I hate to hijack this thread slightly, but here goes anyway.
(besides I didn't want to start a new thread for a simple Nomad question)
I'm about to order a pair of Nomads.
I have very flat feet, so I asked Kyle at Baker's if he thought reducing the heel by 1/4" was a good idea.
He said yes, so...
Oh yes, Ibex.
I've worn quite a few of their bicycling jerseys throughout the years.
Nothing like Merino Wool to keep you dry and stink free.
Plus, it lasts a long time considering all the falls I take on the trails.
I also have one of their boiled wool jackets.
Definitely not the same...
I've got a black and grey Mackinaw that I love.
Quality is awesome as you'd expect from Filson.
I like that it's thin as I also wear it under my leather jacket when riding on colder days.
My only comment is that my med is a little tight on me.
