    how long did you use the oxi-clean for? i had amazing results with it the other day - i found a 1940s skirt with attached undershorts that was at one point white with blue trim, but at this point it was really yellowed and stained. i soaked it for 3 days and it came out nearly perfectly white...

    there is one that oprah is a big fan of - i can't remember the name of it though! a few years ago i bought one at nordstrom that worked pretty well, but i gave it away after my reduction so i don't remembr the brand name either.

    i've had vintage slips that zip, and the zipper is on the opposite side of the body from dress-zippers so they don't get in the way.

    i've got the opposite problem - i hand-washed a lined, wool double-knit skirt and apparently i didn't have it flat enough when it dried - because it grew and is bunchy at the side seams, since the lining is fully attached there. what should be my next move, oh wise ones??

    this would be really cool! the only vintage lipsticks i have are in tiny cases, though. i'm not sure if that was considered "full-size" or not. you could probably do this with a modern case though... maybe buy a Besame lipstick, use it, and then put your favorite shade in it?
