"those Saturdays when you just feel like cleaning."
at what age should i start having those feelings??? :p :p :p
maybe if i lived in a house i owned it would be different!
weird...
about 5 minutes before finding this thread, i heard "Julie Rmx" by jens lekman for the first time. i can't think of any others at the moment...
not whining, but there are still threads i can't get past a certain page of! for instance, i'm TEN pages behind in "show us your purchases" and a few on "show us what you made" as well!
how long did you use the oxi-clean for? i had amazing results with it the other day - i found a 1940s skirt with attached undershorts that was at one point white with blue trim, but at this point it was really yellowed and stained. i soaked it for 3 days and it came out nearly perfectly white...
there is one that oprah is a big fan of - i can't remember the name of it though! a few years ago i bought one at nordstrom that worked pretty well, but i gave it away after my reduction so i don't remembr the brand name either.
i've got the opposite problem - i hand-washed a lined, wool double-knit skirt and apparently i didn't have it flat enough when it dried - because it grew and is bunchy at the side seams, since the lining is fully attached there. what should be my next move, oh wise ones??

i have a friend who is really into BPAL and writes long, flowery descriptions of the scents she tries on her blog. i've been wanting to give it a try, but i REALLY do not need something else to "need" to buy!
this would be really cool! the only vintage lipsticks i have are in tiny cases, though. i'm not sure if that was considered "full-size" or not.
you could probably do this with a modern case though... maybe buy a Besame lipstick, use it, and then put your favorite shade in it?
bonnie, your curls are always so perfectly everyday-30s looking!
everyone looks fantastic!!! i'll post more pics soon, once i get my new camera or get my boyfriend to take some with his! i cut bangs again.
you could rent some of the deanna durbin or judy garland movies from the late '30s for ideas for younger/casual looks! and "college swing" has a lot of great collegiate clothing in it.
