pigeon toe, that sounds like a really tough spot to be in! does the dining hall have a salad bar? i would suggest loading up a plate with salad/raw veggies and fruit, eating that, and then going back for a smaller portion of the cooked stuff. at least with the raw stuff you know exactly what's...
i wonder if silhouettes were slimmer in the UK earlier on, since they were already at war and the US wasn't until '42...
((edited to remove duplicates of large images!))
i *never* wear gloves when i garden - it'd ruin it for me! i love having my hands in the dirt. but then i guess i'm a risk-taker as it is - i commute by bike every day (with gloves) ;)
i've been dying to get a rago 21 cincher --even though my friend and i are about to embark on a slimming-down project! i should have more confidence in my abilities, i guess.
Here are a few more items for sale! I'd rather get them up than wait till more are ready to be posted (I'm getting a new camera soon but these were already photo'ed). There are larger and additional photos of all items at my flickr site. Please message me with any questions! Of course I can...
yeah, the suit might be a little too big for you. i do have a green-and-white stripe one that might work for you but i need to dig it out and measure it. and no worries about the rayon, it went to ada_veen :D
still stuff for sale, ladies! the bathing cap and red kickpleat-front skirt are gone, though.
i know someone wants that pink bathing suit - i'll try to take a picture of it on someone who fits in it so you can see how cute it is!
i've heard from scrapbookers that cutting through foil sharpens the decorative-edge scissors they use. that or the sandpaper sounds like a good idea to me!
laura, i'm not sure the age, but that is a beautiful piece!! i love the curvy part on top! do the handles look original? if not, maybe you can swap them out. i don't know what $200 is like in your money but over here that would be a fair price!
(oh, and the vanity in the link isn't mine...
it's just a prom... she should wear what makes her happy, and should choose it herself. no matter what you feel a prom *should* entail, it doesn't mean everyone is going to abide by that. just have fun and don't take it too seriously! :)
geez, put some makeup on already! :p :p :p
your hair looks great, as always! i like the new length. man, i need a haircut too.
betty, i like your hair! when you say a "double row" of curlers, do you mean you normally only put one row in? maybe my hair is thicker than i think - i usually...
ooh, i bet i could get my guy to learn to set my hair, since he (a) loves the way it looks, and (b) is sympathetic to how much work it takes me! i'm sure i could think of some sort of trade with him... laundry, maybe? ;)
it's been going on since at least 1998! i can remember buying a retro cherry-trimmed dress by It's Martini Time when i worked at the mall, which was in spring of 1998. (why do i remember details like this when i can't remember where i put my keys???)
