Congratulations! I was looking for a Snake Plissken jacket for a long time, since I watched the movie the first time when I was...I think 9. The original jacket was surely a vintage (30s or 40s) motorcycle jacket, basically a D-pocket without ehm...D pocket but with a vertical zipper, a zippo...- cuthbert

I have approximately your numbers and I wear a size 38 30's half belt which is even more snug than the 50s pattern, however if you like it don't care about the comments of the people of the board, the jacket is yours!- cuthbert

Yeah the Ducati does have a strange noise, but my friends who work there told me that the marketing department says the average Ducati customer loves that and the designers aren't supposed to fix it. However a pair of Termignonis usually cover the rattle of the engine.- cuthbert

Pegasus D-pocket review
Yes that was I meant, general finish and supple hide with very uniform grain, the Pegasus is however lighter than the LL because the latter are made of cowhide (horsehide is generally thinner, in this case it's about 3 oz) and they have a padded lining that make them more substantial. Pegasus D-pocket review
Yes their pictures are better than mine! :) I have own four Aeros, a D-1, a 2nd Hercules, an heavy steerhide HB and a custom Hyghwayman, I can compare the Pegasus with the latter twos, in particular with the 30s HB which is very similar in term of size and fit...both jackets are top notch in...- cuthbert

Mmm, I'm not a Langlitz expert but I don't think it's a cascade, and I think they should advertise more this model. Like Dortiz I always considered Langlitz to be the Cadillac, or the Mercedes, of this business and a product like this model would show they can also make things not in line with...- cuthbert

Interesting Tony, today I visited LL and I got a brochure: all the the double breasted jackets were indeed called "lancer jacket", I assume it was the old british term for these jackets...that I like! For the zippers, the Ideals used on this D pocket are the same as the Aero Conmars...same...- cuthbert
