I would also say that a leather cap is likely to be a lot less effective than a helmet. Early helmets were essentially a leather swim cap. The early protective gear for riding was definitely interesting but I love the craftsmanship that went into some of these designs.- attack_decay

Size-wise, I got the Attractions a half size larger than the Flathead boots. For reference, I wear a size 7 (U.S.) in Iron Rangers, 7.5 in Converse Chuck Taylor's, and wear the Flathead in 7 and the Attractions in 7.5. The Flathead is chromexcel which is much more supple than the Attractions...- attack_decay

Vanson c2 - 42 - fit check
Yep, the fit looks great. Any jacket I have that had a belt is typically belted to one of the smallest belt holes. Just a benefit of not having much of a gut- attack_decay

Eastman Roadstar Crosszip
For those of you who own this jacket, or others with leather pulls on the sleeve zippers, what are your thoughts on them? My initial instinct is that they are annoying and I want to remove them but they certainly make zipping the sleeves nicer. Should I give them a chance and see if I warm to them?- attack_decay

They certainly have terrific customer service but it is surprising their measurements are so far off.
