1970's Brimaco "Cycle Champ" Sz 40-42
70’d Canadian Brimaco AKA British Cycle Leathers modeled after the classic Harley Davidson Cycle Champ jacket of the 1940’s/50’s. Jacket is in great condition, all hardware works as it should and the lining is intact.

1950’s Cross-Zip, unbranded but appears consistent with J.C. Penny’s jackets of that time. Purchased from another forum member by way of eBay. I really wanted this to fit, but it is too large for me so it is getting moved along. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can shed some light on the...
Kit Karson front quarter horsehide jacket, 1950’s. The horsehide is thick, with beautiful asymmetrical graining. The color of the leather is russet, with a lighter brown patina that emerged, most prominently on the sleeve creases. The sleeves utilize a heavier horse hide that feels rigid and...
Catch and release. Jacket is a little too big for me, I have a 40” chest, although I am tempted to keep it to wear with layers, I think I need to let this one go. A previous owner protectively scrawled his name and room number on the lining. The leather is soft and on the lighter side, making...
1950s Spiegel that is a catch and release for me. I took a gamble on this and it turned out too small for me. I conditioned the jacket with some Pecard’s as it was quite thirsty. The leather is thick and stiff and almost certainly horsehide. Easily one of the nicest hides I’ve ever handled, I...
Interesting yellow Tauber's here. I really like the broad head arrow style of the interior pocket. Don't believe I've seen that style on interior pockets before. Very small if the measurements are correct (18" width), but I question their accuracy.
I saw it got snatched up shortly after it was posted. Glad it's going to a forum member. That is a terrific jacket, looks like it's in immaculate condition!
So he replaced the midsole too? Was that a pricey operation? They look terrific. The contrast from the midsole makes it look like a totally different boot. Really great.
Really like that one. Fit is perfect. Like the back yoke and the kidney panel design, has the vibe of an old Hercules. I'll have to see if Scott has any of these still in the store when I go to NYC next month...
Looks like a dinosaur hide. Love the grain the thick Cals develop. You inspired me to take some pics of mine.
This is my red label Cal. Tried to capture the gorgeous longitudinal striations/"stretch marks" on the sleeves. I typically associate these with horse hide, do you guys feel that is...
Ha! At one of my old jobs we used to get bales of rags. I suppose for cotton garments it makes sense to bake them. But for leather.... Questionable, if the goal is the resell.
