I got the same email. I'm in no hurry to get the hat; I'm happy he's taking the quality issue so seriously that he's willing to delay delivery and possibly get some flack from anxious customers. Also, the communication factor is important; explaining why the delay is happening is a good idea...

A very special hat just arrived for me. It's an Ivory thin-ribbon in light-weight felt. The color is a beautiful off-white. I'm sure this one will get me noticed!
