New Panama

Nuttin' fancy. Very inexpensive new panama- I liked the Optimo ridge.

New Akubra Sydney in regency fawn. Nice hat. Plain Jane kinda nice. Open crown and has a vintage look and feel to it as it is a softer felt hat then most of the other Akubras.

I keep a small hinged double mirror for that problem. One side for peeking, the other to invert back things that are hard to read mirror reversed. Using the two together can be a bit of motor challenge.

I use a dental mirror and a tiny flashlight.

Dobbs Derby too

Extra Long Oval. Hand-stitched brim binding. Nearly 2-3/8" sweatband is very tightly conformed so I can't lift it to see underneath.
