Starting to see more hats

Question about hats in general
Very Optional To Echo MK, fedora brims come numerous ways. I think the binding adds a touch of class to most hats, though I hated it when I was younger. Now, I think I prefer brim bindings. Actually, Besdor... The shiping from Australia is high, but I did the math when I bought mine. It actually cost me less to buy it from Australia because the hat's price was so much lower (like $70 range)! Convert your currency and redo your math!- Not-Bogart13

If it's just the look you want... If you don't mind a modern hat, Akubra makes a hat that's almost a spot-on duplicate of the Open Road. It's called a Campdraft. Hatsdirect.com can get it if you ask them by e-mail. It will never be as good as a vintage, but Akubra makes a solid modern hat...- Not-Bogart13

Softening up an Akubre Federation Deluxe?
Aging to perfection I don't have the deluxe, but I have the regular Fed. A bit of rebashing did help to soften it up, but when I got caught in my first major rain storm, it did a great deal to soften it up. As for the round shape, Akubras are very round from the factory.
