Schitzo, to be honest, when you see the hassle and expense that some of the US guys have if they have a problem with Aero, if I was you I'd be very tempted to take the chance to go up there, have a good look around and get your order and measurements absolutely right. It's probably cheaper to...
Fanch, definitely will do thanks. She deals with Dallas every day, so here's hoping.
Apologies to Schitzo for the hijack. Back on topic, I quite like the look of the Short Teamster, although I think it needs a fourth button. That would have a narrow front, but with the nice V-shaped back, so...
Fanch, I just edited my post. It's handy being close to Aero, but it's not like I need to go often. There are so many great places that people here live in, particularly in the US, that I'd happily trade proximity to a good leather factory for the chance of living somewhere like that.
Funnily...
That puts things into a bit of perspective. I knew Texas was big, but it sounds like the whole UK would fit into it.
For me it's 39 miles and 50 minutes to Aero, which can be handy. Having said that, I'm really jealous when I see some of the great locations people live in on the board.
Insoma, Aero have said the kudu won't work on longer jackets due to the size of the panels, so you'll need to choose from goat, mid-weight horse or something else.
Thinking this through, it might have been better for Aero to do a few bulk returns through Insurrection, as that way the US customers deal inland, Insurrection get a few dollars for their trouble and Aero save a packet on individual postage costs. :cheers1:
Holly - all I ask in return for this...
Maybe Aero made a mistake and now decide that Frank's jacket really is horse. Problem solved - no carriage fees, no waiting for another jacket and Aero can make a profit on the one they had earmarked as a replacement.
Who could tell otherwise if they change their mind? Presumably they're...
I suppose the point now is what reason or evidence you or anyone else has to doubt the current Aero management's word.
I have personal experience of them righting the previous wrongs (at their own expense), so would trust Holly with no hesitation.
I doubt very much if I am the only one.
The time has come to close off this circle, which started at the height of the storse controversy. Despite what I said above, I handed back my steer replacement HWM a week later as I wanted what I'd thought I was buying in the first place. I've just received the genuine FQHH replacement and am...
Worf, I think sleeves are a personal thing. We all need to go for what feels right for us, rather than what other people tell us.
I think yours are fine and preferable to short ones, but I totally accept you feel different.
I've seen sleeves on here I'd say were definitely too short, but...
Boringly back on topic, I found Butte's link really interesting and look forward to visiting AE in NY later in the year to see the shoes for myself.
I'd love to see something similar for jacket making.
