Cuff Replacement Tutorial
I'm not really sure where to post this? But i thought some of you might find it useful. I've been meaning to do this for a while, so here goes... First, you need to either remove the old cuffs, or make a new jacket (whichever you prefer). Turn the jacket inside out and open up the liner...- fishmeok

Review of Nobles Houses M-444 (445?)
I won this on e-bay a while back on a whim, thought i'd put up a quick review. I thought this might be a nice alternative to my normal sheep wear and move me a little more out of the USAAF shearling style I'm accustomeed to. Heavily modified US Authentic B-3 size 46
This started out as a stock jacket with many incorrect features, but excellent fleece. I modified the cuffs, body length, pocket position, zipper, added zipper reinforcement tabs at the top and bottom and dyed the leather patches to make it more "authentic". Also added the AAF decal. Thanks guys- it's pretty much a straight 46 (vintage 46 that is) arms about 26", body about 24"in the front. If it was warmer I'd be wearing it around, but it's full on winter here now... Cheers Mark- fishmeok

Finished this the other day, but not after some hassle with a zipper that I managed to break and then had to replace. Same dark goat hide as the last jacket, but with different collar, epaulets, and body pattern. The knits are a darker red as well. Snaps are brass, zip is a Conmar. I'm sure I...- fishmeok

Looks really good - when you do finally have to replace the waistknit you could try taking 1/2 off each side and lining everything back up at the center- I have done that to a couple of jackets, but it requires some fairly intense disassembly.
