Some not so great fit pics. It's not so easy inside, but outside was miserable, so this is the best I have for now.
The Wool HB is really difficult to photograph inside, as the relatively subtle difference between black and cordovan doesn't show up easily, but here goes for now. The creases...
Thanks guys. I actually like them more than I expected. The DB replaced an HWM that I felt was too wide in the shoulders and too short at the front, but this feels just right, not to mention a nicer shape. The dropped front of the DB makes it look even all the way round. The Wool HB is just...
Luckily Aero forgot to bolt their door today, so I was able to disrupt their Christmas party to pick up my new Dustbowl and Wool HB.
Having learned my lesson, I sized down on these, both being 38". They're a trim fit, but I need a change after my slightly larger cuts. Specs are absolutely...
Very nice looking jacket(s). The N-1 is a good complement to any leather wardrobe and this one is a great fit on you. I like the colour a lot and it goes well with your jeans.
I had a fondle of an N-1 and was surprised how heavy and solid it seemed, but in a good way.
I got the Bullards M2 a month or so ago and am pretty impressed. Not as heavy or thick as hyped, but definitely more than your average bear. I'm tempted to go for the olive as well now, so that's a good sign.
I bought one recently from Walker Slater in Edinburgh, who specialize in tweedy, traditional clothing. They have a good website. Sorry but I can't do a link on my tablet.
Honestly Fred, just relax and enjoy the jacket when it comes. It won't be perfect, nothing is, but I bet you no-one will notice.
I look forward to the pics.
My two Stockmans are similar, with only the patch pockets and width being the obvious differences. The lining on that is sown in, but it's certainly not a concern.
As for style, it's my go-to jacket, as it's so simple it goes with anything.
Yeah Fred, don't worry about Parcelforce. I've used them loads and they've never lost anything yet. The worst by far UK courier is meant to be Yodel, who again I've had no problems with, so like Cape says, it's only the moaners who write.
I was on a "Not Proven" jury once. Despite the accused admitting guilt, the blatant dislike of some jury members for the victim meant that they'd never have committed the guy. Not Proven was a total cop-out, but sadly my experience of jury service wasn't anything like Twelve Angry Men.
If I'm not mistaken, the Scottish Courts site lists cases up to 5 days in advance, so that might be the first time there's official confirmation. Complete mystery until then.
sshack, it sounds like you've maybe missed all the hoohaa 6-12 months ago. Best just to read those threads and form your own opinion of what was allegedly going on. The court will decide the facts.
Butte, no mention of the label/storse issue in the press release, which made me wonder, as this trial seems specific to the magic expanding closet.
I understood that my storse (no doubt amongst countless others) was kept as evidence, so maybe there will be more to come.
Jeff, I'm sure this was a mega-thread probably around March, with quite a few people saying it was all an unfortunate misunderstanding etc etc. Now we'll soon hear the truth.
