Well guys, seems that our familly will be growing soon! My girlfriend is 4 and a half month pregnant, and we found out yesterday that it'll be a girl!! I'm quite extatic about it. She'll be our first child, and I cannot wait to see her, hold her in my arms. ETA is... 31.12.2015! Looks like we'll...
Hmm, I checked a couple ones a few days ago, and even a 48L has 26 inches sleeves... Actually, the only Lee 101 that I found with what seems to be the good sleeve length is this one...
I would love myself a Lee 101, but as usual, can't seem to find size 44 with 27/27.5 sleeve length. Do you know if any brand is doing something like this?
QMI is pretty well known among WW2 reenacters here in Belgium and France. They do have some really good repros.
Here is the review on TFL: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?76204-A-2-horsehide-from-qmi-be
The DeBrabander A-2 is the one from QMI shop, in Belgium. There's a review somewhere on the forum, and they do look like really decent jackets for the price.
I checked with Holly, they can adjust body length/arms length without problem to what would fit me best. I really hope I can put my order through before the end of the year ;-)
Two words: ape's arms! :-D
I'm not sure I'd be able to score a sales jacket with the 27.5 inches sleeves I need. No problem, I'm patient, and already in touch with Holly to see what can/cannot be done.
I love the finish of the "real deal" too, but I'm looking for an early war/trim fit A2...
