Sloan, unless something's happened in the last 10 minutes LD have run for cover on that forum for weeks now, keeping well away from the increasing discontent showing there.
And people are now pointing out that you can't make a CC charge back after 6 months, so some are getting twitchy about...
I've just tried to look at his retail site but nothing much is happening there. No prices, no ordering.
I actually like the look of his denim jacket now and wish I'd gone for it at KS stage. But I'm still uneasy about the yellow thread, and would like a choice of something a bit more subtle...
Peter, if you check out the Selvedge board you'll see the rose-tinted glasses are coming right off the punters.
I'm at 15 weeks and now genuinely expect another 10. It's fair to say they've been overwhelmed due to low prices and time-consuming customisations and have lost the plot completely.
I haven't a clue about A2s, but that looks a great fit to me. So much so that I'm now seriously tempted to get one as a summer jacket. I like how it doesn't look tight on you.
It's a 42, but what are the back, shoulder, pit and sleeve dimensions? And is that style one of the less tight ones...
I assume the stock jackets will be the new pattern as they've been out since early last year, I think. Aero will confirm.
No issues with quality at all, as you'd expect.
Just placed an order for custom Boss - Burgundy, Harness toe and 430 soles. As it's a minimum 14 week delivery, I'm getting them sent to my US holiday hotel in early July and saving a packet in international delivery and customs fees.
Now the long wait...
I've bought 11 pairs (I can't believe that number), and 4 have been undersized. I have two more on order still, so we'll see what happens.
I hope quality isn't slipping, but my Loomstates came in 2" short in both waist and leg, but I'm sticking with them as I had some allowance built in.
I've already shown my two Lennon's on other threads, and always say they're much more solid than the two IR's I have. The good thing about Lennon is the wide choice of hides which for some reason they don't advertise. I chose I think black CXL and full grain burgundy, and prefer the texture of...
I know. I'm tempted to buy them for the novelty value alone. The price is great considering G charged literally twice that for their comparatively weedy 23 and 26oz jeans.
Compared to G, the LD shirts look much more substantial and have countless customisation options, and at such a low price they were a great buy. I didn't order anything special though, which is why I'm relaxed about cancelling.
I do want to keep the denim vest, though, as I can't see that...
I have more than enough jeans and two more from G on the way, so am happy if I can cancel the LD ones. I can understand the interest in the customisation of the LD shirts at their price, but again have many more than I can deal with, so am happy to lose theirs.
I've also got an order in with...
They're looking to get another factory in LA, which would help a lot, but that won't be an imminent help to the backlog.
I've just lost my enthusiasm for my orders and I don't care how cheap their jeans and shirts are. It's one thing to wait 4 or 5 months for an $1100 Aero at the height of...
And what I like best about Lennon is that they have a raw quality that shows they're made by real people and not machines or even sweat shop far Eastern labour.
The many custom options at minimal or no cost make them a no brainer as well. And if the resole is only £30, then that's almost...
