I have a Vanson model B and find it to be somewhat restrictive when reaching up. The back gussets offer limited mobility. I had a model E a while back which I never should of sold. That thing was wonderful to ride in. I’d buy that jacket back in a heartbeat.
Well, I went for it and ordered a J23 from Stuart at Lost Worlds today. Got in just before the '18 price jump. Went with the heavier #10 brass zipper (brass zippers all around), silver snaps, and antique brown fur collar. Should have it in about 5-6 weeks.
I found my old Aero J106 a bit restrictive when it came to grabbing the handlebars of my bike (12" apes). I wouldn't ever get Aero's shoulder gussets again for riding (very little movement). Did you have any problems with raising your arms (reaching out and up), with your LW j23? This will be a...

Chest (pit to pit): 23.5"
Back length: 26-27"
Sleeve length (shoulder seem to cuff) 26.5-27"
Waist: 21"
Thanks!

Will do... it was originally suppose to arrive yesterday but there was some type of situation with UPS so now it won't be here until Friday. Once I get it I'll get some pics.
Now to plan my next jacket... thinking of a Aero Bootlegger with a j106 style d-pocket in Vicenza darkened brown leather.
I'd like to get a Dehen 1920 motorcycle sweater but would prefer one that's not plain like Dehen shows on their website. The Harley Davidson Museum sells race sweaters similar to the vintage ones that either have patches or say "Harley - Davidson." HD says that their's are made by Dehen, but...
