Sunbody hats are great. They are actually very easy to shape. I like to buy the open crown versions. Just dunk them in cold water, shape them the way you want and let them dry. If you can, let them dry on your head and they will conform perfectly to your head shape. You will want to buy one size...
Lefty, I actually have a Chesterfield hat.

Definitely looks like the same artist. I was guessing late teens or early 20's on the first brochure based on the hats, automobiles and the soldier uniforms. Especially the soldier uniforms. The campaign hats made me think around the end of WWI.
My dentist's office was recently taking ID photos of all their patients to put in their new computer system. After my dental work the dental assistant asked me to put my hat back on before she took the picture!
Great pics everyone!
Alan, great pictures of you and your Dad! Where did your Dad receive his Silver Star? A good friend of mine's father received the Silver Star in WWII and my friend never knew it. He found it in a little box in his desk after he died.
Very interesting. Thanks for posting it.
Is there a copyright date or any date that would indicate when it was printed? I would guess it was from the 1920's. Maybe the late 1900's.
I received an inaccurate but well intended Indy comment a few weeks ago too. I was wearing a silverbelly Stetson Open Road in a Cattleman's crease with the front brim down. Obviously nothing like an Indy hat!
Of course, when the brim is up on the same hat I get the LBJ comments!
I think it looks very nice and I'm mainly a thin ribbon guy. Where did you get the ribbon? In the photos it appears to be a good match to the brim binding.
