Wow, some haul indeed!
How about online auctioning the swag (or at least some of it), to give everyone a fair crack at it, and Aero would maximise recovery too? It could even be done on this site.
I like that, as it's reminiscent of my wool HB. It opens up a whole new world of possible wool versions, so I'm going to look at the catalogue afresh to see if it might work on something else.
Nice story and good you got to see the nerve centre. It's a great place to visit and see so much all in one place, but it's hard to keep control of your wallet when you do that.
Yeah, that was basically £700-odd (including the Teamster) I threw away to find a fit I didn't like.
The good that came out of it was replacing it with the Teamster with the Sunburst pockets, so that was an improvement on before, albeit a costly one.
@ProteinNerd, I actually got rid of this at least 6 months ago. I found it too restrictive and never really wore it. I wore the Stockman much more and replaced the Work Coat with a black Teamster, to replace the one I stupidly traded in before the WC.
I now have a cordovan Teamster coming next...
Yeah, @Fanch, I copied you on the unsecured inner pocket for my two Teamsters. It's good to have something if the outer pockets are open, and no zip or button seems to give much less chance of the pocket showing through to the outside.
@Fanch, your Teamster is getting nicely worn looking. I like the pockets on the Stockman, as they're pretty secure and nothing falls out. I have two inner pockets on the cordovan, but got that before realising how decent the patch pockets were. The black has no inner pockets and I don't feel...
Thought a thread devoted to longer jackets might be useful, as most jackets here seem to be short. It would be good if others could add theirs, no matter the make.
To kick off, here's comparison shots of my two Aero Stockmans, black and cordovan. The black is the thin black layer which wears...
I like that, and it has a nice story behind it. Not cheap, though.
What size did you get, and what's the sleeve length from centre back at the neck down the outside of the sleeve?
I have his Wabash, 23oz black and Blood Red jeans. I'd say they're very well made, and at very reasonable prices. I'd buy again if he had more choice of denim and much reduced waiting times.
Not really my cup of tea, but it's good to see something different here. Having said that, the lace-to-toe makes them look like my Wesco Jobmasters from above, but with a more elegant sole. These could be a grower...
I hear you guys. I've been offloading jackets to justify getting another new one. You can't beat the smell of new leather, or the thrill of anticipation. My second Teamster is in the queue now and I can't wait.
