I think in large part because of the fact that both Dean and Monroe died young reinforces their legend. They're both forever young. They never got old and fat or declined physically. All that we have are pictures and video of them in their prime.
It's sad they died so young, but in doing so...
I've always wondered. I had a poster of this picture when I was a kid. It looks to be old style khaki pants maybe. The jacket or sweater is what I'm asking about specifically. Is it some kind of odd sport coat or blazer I'm not aware of?? It almost looks like a cardigan type sweater too. I know...
Engineer boots are my favorite boots. I know we've had discussion threads with some pictures interspersed. I figured it would be great to have one big picture thread.
These are my custom Wesco engineer boots. They are about three weeks old and just starting to show some wear.
Here are the...
That's about how these fit now. Like big slippers filled with lead.
They'll never fit like lace up boots but I like the style so much that I deal with it. I get constant compliments on them.

I'm with you. My right foot is bigger than my left. Custom Wesco boots here. Still have heel slippage but I don't think they're broken in just yet. This Vibram sole is stiff. I'd love a pair of Roll Call boots one day too. Engineer boots are my favorite boots. I've always felt they all have some...
How do your engineer boots fit when finally broken in? Do you notice a difference among different brands of boots?
I'm working on breaking in my custom Wesco engineer boots. I still have a bit if heel slippage but they are coming along nicely. I had a pair of Wesco years ago and the heel...
Call Wesco. They are world class for customer service. They will walk you through it for finding your size. There is always the custom sizing route which is worth every penny of you have hard to fit feet.
The Wesco boots do for better than the Chipewwa boots, but to be fair, the Wesco boots were custom made to my measurements.
The Chippewa for good. Though for me they are about in the toe box and the shaft barely clears my calves. If you have larger legs then the Chips may not did your legs...
That's a good analogy. It makes sense too.
I had my Wesco boots built on the old style 9109 Last with the bump toe. Wesco leather is very thick. Maybe too thick. The seem to take forever to break in fully. After three weeks of daily wear of 4 hours or more a day they are about 85% broken in...
Unfortunately Lofgren boots are not available in my EAR foot width as I would love a pair.
I own two pairs of Wesco custom boss engineer boots. I don't see how any boot could be miles ahead. Regardless of the maker.
My Wesco boots put my Chipewwa and Redwings to shame honestly. The stitching...
I've been looking for a while now. Levi's does theirs. That's about it. T shirts from the 50's were definitely cut much different than today's shirts. The sleeves were much shorter and the seems and drop of the shoulder was different too.
Levi's Vintage clothing Tshirt has the right look. The...
Hello. No I didn't go with the MP toe. I wanted to but in the end I went with the Boss toe. Soft toe.
The man who worked there called me once they got my measurements. I'm a 10.5 EEE wide width. He strongly reccommended against true MP toe with my foot shape. I took his advice and got the...
