Okay well I received my custom Boss engineer boots from Wesco.
I took out the leather insoles. I'm wearing thick boot socks. The same ones I was measured in for the boots to be made. I have a soft toe box with no reinforcements at all. Just leather.
I just got off shift at work. 8 hours give...
Folding the socks over helped a lot.
I'll look for longer socks. I wonder if this will be a problem after break in. I don't recall this being a problem with my old Wesco boots.
Just received my Wesco custom engineer boots last evening. I must say they are every bit as nice as I remeber. I had a pair roughly 20 years ago.
What the best socks to wear ? I got a 9" unlined shaft knowing it will sag once broken in. I wear Darn Tough brand boot socks. Excellent socks. They...
I took a quick snap this morning. It's very hard to capture the color well with indoor lighting. It is not made of nylon. It has a slight sheen to it but not a super high sheen.

I wouldn't say it has a sheen. It's not dull but it doesn't really shine either.

I'll get some pics once I'm home from work today.
It is great jacket and for $75 USD and being...
I found this one recently. I've always liked this jacket. This is also Made in America as well. For the money the quality is excellent.
They seem to run pretty true to size. I'm very pleased with it.
Shipping was fast as well.

Wesco are of very high quality. My last pair I nearly lived in them. They held up and aged beautifully.
I read through the massive engineer boots thread here. I want to have custom engineer boots made. The main reason being my size. I'm a 10.5 EEE Width US size. Almost nothing fits off the rack.
I had a pair of Wesco boots 20 years ago. They survived many miles on foot through Boston weather. My...
