Hello all!
About a year or so ago I had bought a Herbert Johnson bowler derby off of that well known auction site. What I got was a tad too small for my knoggin. Oddly enough I found out that a 6 7/8 doesn't fit too well on a 7 3/8 head. So what I would like to know is, can it be stretched...
Bump!
Hello again, just a little bump here. Any other folks having or thought of having their lid, be it a fedora or cowboy hat, re-blocked & shaped into something else? Would love to see the results of the job done.
Cheers!
Dan
That's a fine looking hat you have there. I wouldn't be afraid to wear it out in public at all. Enjoy your new lid no matter what your dsughter says.
Cheers!

I remember Saturday mornings with the Warner Bros. cartoons, and then Sunday had the old Popeye and other cartoons on KTLA Channel 5 with host Tom Patton. He'd sketch out the up coming cartoon character and introduce them with reverence. Right after that was a healthy dose of the Three Stooges...
So this was sort of started over in the Hats section and I thought it might be an interesting topic to discuss. Is the suit that Johnny Depp is wearing vintage or (dare I say) new? Take a look and weigh in your valued oppinion.
I'm of the idea that it is something new, but...
Possibly, but judging by the way the sleeves hike up I'd have to say maybe not. But, I've been known to be wrong before. Maybe we can start another thread discussing the suit and have the experts weigh in their oppinions.:)
Cheers!
Dan
This is similar to the article photo. The whole outfit is pretty sharp with the cream zoot suit. The shots were taken from his hand & foot ceremony in Hollywood. Judging by the wind cord it may be a Borsalino, new or vintage I'm not sure.
Look, high waisted trousers.:offtopic...
