I agree entirely. When it started to emerge what had gone on, I felt like a bit of a clown. I can only imagine how Ken and family must have felt.
I don't know if you are familiar with the podcast Serial but, once the dust settles, something like that would be very interesting. Having said...
As you have the first hand experience I defer, of course.
I was trying not to publicly speculate about the depth of the problem. What appeared to me to be innocuous could well have been part of something more troubling.
With the comment about the jacket I was offering some support for...
I had a pair of LVC 1955 501 that I bought from Aero. When they arrived, before I had tried them on, one of the rivets fell off. Amanda replaced them immediately. At the same time I had an eBay search set up for LVC. A few weeks later I spotted a pair of 501s with a rivet missing. I emailed...
I would try some of the other jackets, like the premier range. I had a Mulligan, which I think is similar to the standard 30's half belt, and it was slightly too big. The 1920's work coat in the same size is a much better fit.
How about a Premier Half belt or Highwayman in 42?
I do not think...
I am sure that is a great relief for all involved. Hopefully Aero can continue to grow from here. Although the transition would have been very difficult, I think the new designs since Ken un-retired have really freshened the line-up.
There is something for everyone now.
I have begun to wonder recently if perhaps the market is reaching saturation and we may start to see some manufacturers squeezed out. Before starting to lurk around here, a number of years ago, I had no idea there were so many manufacturers. However, there are even more now and the internet...
A1, I have not commented as I actually find it quite sad to watch as BK alienate a ready customer base. However, I would give it plenty of thought before trading your jacket. It looks great on you.
Hopefully this will all blow over and BK will moderate their marketing strategy.
Sylvester and Arnold must be taking advice from Gene Simmons, that lovable rock'n'roll millionaire.

Many thanks to all for the kind comments. With the fit pictures I was going for a Thurston Brothers feel but it did not go well. Can I remind you all that the camera adds 10 pounds, at least?
Many thanks, theeggcarton. Your jacket has given me a few sleepless nights. I opted for matching...
I have tried both settings and a variety of shirts and sweaters. Both buttons will be useful, either to wear over a shirt or, when loosened, a fairly chunky sweater.
Here are a few pictures of the coat on. The cut is definitely slim but not restrictive. The gusset in the back gives some additional movement. I have a 45" chest and can wear a 44 in Aero's Long Half Belt etc. I had a Mulligan in 46" which, although slimmer than the LHB, was a bit big on me...
I recently sought advice here when I was looking for an alternative to Aero's FQHH. I received several very helpful suggestions but fortuitously Aero made the Vicenza hides available to all. I also took some good advice to visit the factory, and try a few jackets on to ensure the best fit. All...
BKarma, Good day! I am new here myself.
The first Aero ever I had was a long half belt and I really liked it.
If you were in Europe, it would be a good price. If you were to incur import duties and VAT it starts to look expensive.
There is quite a trade in used Aeros and part of the...
Price dropped to £160.
This is the first time I have tried the classifieds here so I would really appreciate some pointers.
Is this type of suit just not going to be of interest? Is the price way off?
Thank you in advance for any input
