Aye, I know but I did not want to come right out and say it.
I had referenced the fight club jacket previously when imagining what Chuck would have made of the lapels
That has worked out really well. The stitching and lining are well chosen and give your jacket that enigmatic something that lifts it out of the ordinary. This forum has some excellent jackets and that is up there with the best.
As a fellow spectacle wearer I hope you won't mind me asking...
If AL relaunch, after the sentencing, as Simmons Bilt and can come up with their own designs, their own thing - well who knows? There is room for other makers but they all have their own distinct identities. Himel certainly, Goodwear have an unassailable niche, I really like the BK Heracles...
I think the best thing to do is take AL at their word and let their 'jackets do the talking'. The upside to all of this is the new designs from Aero. They put some clear water between Aero and the AL offerings.
Those are two of the nicest jackets I have seen. Really lovely.
I did not ever bother to look for a Buzz as I assumed that they would only be in smaller sizes.
I don't think there would be much profit in starting a flame war with another forum, especially one with members who know swear words.
Perhaps Giles was duped as well? It would be interesting to know if any of the mislabelled jackets made their way to IH customers or was it just those who dealt...
I think WL had thought of Aero as his company. Certainly some of the machinists thought that WL 'built the company up'. I would also guess that once in that mindset the behaviour he exhibited did not feel dishonest and was easier to rationalise. From the testimony it sounds like WL was...

I have a pair of Shuron Ronsir Revelation up on eBay. They are quite large, probably more suitable for a man.
I have my prescription in them with a tinted lens so you would need to have your own...
For me it is clear that WL tried to engineer the buyout by SA to secure his own position. This is a classic family owned business problem. If KC had accepted SA'a offer then WL would still be at Aero without the the threat of the owner's family taking over. AL was set up because the buyout did...
Those two pictures seem conclusive.
I wonder about the staff that went from Aero to AL. Hopefully, if they were unaware of the deception, they will come out of this with a job. Perhaps there was a Jim Jones type of charisma. I also wonder how the pitch to Sandy Alexander went? I think, for...
As far as I understand it the premier jackets are the slimmest fitting that Aero have done. My recent experience is with a Mulligan and a 20's Work Coat. I have a 45 inch chest and normally wear a 44 suit jacket. I had a Mulligan in 46, which I believe is a similar fit to a 30's half belt. It...
It was not you I was thinking of. There is much you say that I agree with. I nearly sold my jackets when the peter pan collar exchanges were going on. I thought that there was some breakdown in relationships if the staff left Aero to go to AL.
With this conviction, where does that leave the...
There are some members here conspicuous by their absence.
I find it hard to imagine that Mr Alexander could continue to lend his name to an enterprise that has it's roots in such murky water.

I am not sure if this is of interest as it is quite new but certainly vintage inspired and classic.
I have it listed with a Bin of £135. Please PM if you are interested at a good bit less than £135.
“That’s the best revenge of all: happiness. Nothing drives people crazier than seeing someone have a good ******* life.”
I think Denny and Holly have been forged in fire and Aero will continue to thrive.
Just to clarify, that is a quote from Chuck Palahniuk who wrote Fight Club and is...
