LOL! Glad that the coconut treatment worked. One thing I did notice after using it on that old optimo-blocked Adam was that after a few months the oil got a faint rancid aroma that got a little stronger after wearing it a few hours. I got similar straw-rejuvinating results on another dry straw... -

All is well in my little coastal Northern California town. So far no confirmed cases of covid, and only 30 in the county. We did, however, have a very nasty bug sweep through the area in mid December through mid January that everyone wrote off as the flu, although it didn't seem to care if... -

Can a felt brim edge be modified?
I rhink the best option would be to leave it as is and have a new hat made just like it with a raw brim. Then another in grey, and one in dark brown, and one in olive, and one more maybe.... :D
