Lovely morning for coffee in the yard, watching the local fauna wreak it's annual havoc on the local flora.

Thanks Red. The jacket is a good design for transitional weather. It buttons to the collar if needed and has great pockets for biking. Love your panama, great band on it.
Thanks,
Michael

Debating whether to get out on the bicycle or start binging season 7 of Game of Thrones, which I got at the library yesterday.

I keep my house very cool by today's standards. It's 62 in here now according to my thermometer. So very nice for hat wearing. In the summer, on the other hand, it's generally too hot in here and then in house hat wearing falls off. I need better AC. Ha ha.

Thanks D. The jacket is loden and is from Lands' End Charter Collection, which apparently only existed from 1983 til 1986. The sweater is the cardigan half of a set I picked up that included a sweater vest of the same yarn and design. I think they are from the early '70s. The tie is an Amana...
Thanks Scotty. I"m tending to agree with you. After moving out to OR and western brim dimensions I'm kind of falling back to the 2 1/4-3/8" brim.
Gotta wear a hat around the house. Most of the time anyway. And since I live alone, who's to complain. Also, most of my outings in the summer...
Two hatting it today. I wore the Whippet around the house this morning, but this afternoon for the bike ride I put on the much more bicycle friendly Panizza Sportsman

Finally found a couple of ties today while I was out biking the town. One is old wool and one is Amanas wool.

The green and red old one is around 45x3.5" and the Amanas is a more modern 56x4"

Thanks Red. It's rating pretty high on my list too. Loved the duplex you were wearing today. That one is going to get a lot of use this summer.
Thanks Red. The color is a good complement to the Hanover Square, which I think has the same dimensions as the Whippet. I think I have a similarly...

Judging by the length and width and the sort of belling at the end I would think '30s is a good guess. Haven't really considered selling any, most particularly now that the supply seems to have completely dried up around here. Maybe that will change.
