Thanks Stefan. The color is a little variable. Yesterday and last night it was a kind of pastel green. Today it seems to me sort of blue. Other days it's gray.
I wish mine was in unworn condition. Not that it is bad condition. Is yours Aristocrat Quality?
That is what I figured to pin to...
Great job. Did you buy the ribbon to go with the sweater or vice versa? That looks a lot like the gray model I was wearing the other day.
Yes, it was interesting. I see a few people around town wearing fedora type hats, but not many in real classics. I did see one old fellow last summer who...
Thanks Red. I too like the pockets on the coat. It's a very handy bicycling and day tripping coat with all of the pocket space. The pin came with it.

Supposedly the back pockets were added in the early 1950s.

Off for the weekly grocery shop...
Interesting is a good word for it. I didn't run into anyone else with the same hat when I was out. Ha ha. The jackets are LL Bean and original Ike and the boots are Red Wing Iron Rangers. I seldom make it very far into my closets anymore. Ha ha.
Michael
Thanks Red. The felt is very nice on this hat. I really like the dimensions of it too.
Your duplex is looking great again today. I can see that it is going to be getting a lot of head time soon.
Michael
Thanks Moe. I like Hopoka a lot, though I still have no idea what it is. Or when they quit selling it. I did at least see that it was imported, from where I don't know. And it seems they were selling this shape and material as far back as at least the early '40s.
I'm in no hurry whatsoever...
I picked up this Botany 500 3 piece yesterday at the local Goodwill.

I think I need to shorten the sleeves and pants a bit and the pants have a slight flare I might remove. I think mid-60s is the era.

More Harris Tweed. This one by Hill & Archer, a Montgomery Ward brand I believe.

I like these serving the purpose of a mini-scarf in cool weather.

Happy Hump day,
Michael
The Dobbs looks great, Perry. And that shirt and tie combo is killer with it.
Thanks Perry. I was switching between this one and The Dallas. This one just seemed a better fit. Probably the Dallas tomorrow.
Thanks,
Michael
Ha ha, I am a creature of habit and you've got my schedule down. You are looking cozy in the Panizza and the warm slippers. I'm a big fan of warm slippers. And Panizza.
Thanks,
Michael

Thanks Stefan. I wish I could find a derby around here in a color other than black. Haven't seen one so far, except one wool one that was Kelly Green and about 5 sizes too large.
Thanks again, it is a favorite of mine as well.
It's a hat that looks like a proper hat.
Unusual look perhaps. Ha...
Nice hat for that money. I think it might have been Bob Hufford that had the buntal western. I saw a nice vintage Stetson straw a week or so ago, but it was a size big for me and I think $25. Bit too much for my wallet.
Michael
Nice one Bob. I've got a yard or so of Scotland woven black watch fabric that I've been meaning to turn into vest one of these days. It's a nice tartan.
Thanks,
Michael
