I'm curious of that, too. I would lean toward column B. Here's one for you. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1951-ford-COE-49-merc-engine-very-solid-TAKE-PYMTS-/200443571897?hash=item2eab5e2eb9&item=200443571897&pt=Salvage_Parts_Cars&vxp=mtr

Funny you say that. This truck rolled up and everyone at the shop compared it to the car in Jeepers Creepers. We almost bought the 1960 Impala from that movie a few years back. I went and looked at a 1960 Impala Sport Sedan (flattop) today. It was 950 bucks, but was just too far gone. I'd...

What time period would you live in, and where, if you had to for one year?

I'll go with the Cadillac LeMans lol if we're going with stuff that never hit the streets. A '59 Cyclone would be neat, too.

Disagree with you. All good looking cars.

I don't think it'll be too terrible. Most of it could be fixed with some sheetmetal patches. Luckily, it's not a very rusty truck.

    What are you wearing today??

You're looking at the results of texting and driving. The car belonged to my co-worker's son. The engine/trans will fit. The truck is at my mechanic's house and he said he'll be able to drop it in no problem.

I bought two vehicles today. I got this 1951 Ford F-6 Dump Truck. I'm thinking perhaps of putting a fuel-injected engine, and an overdrive trans in it, restoring the interior, fixing the rust on the body. Beyond that, I'd just like to clean it up, clear coat it to preserve the patina and have...

    What are you wearing today??

I wore Dickies shirt and pants today. I was out car shopping, and planned on getting covered in dirt and grease. Even bought two vehicles today. This '51 Ford. Also bought this '91 GMC with my friend. I'm taking the engine/trans/computer to go in the '51, and he is parting out...

    Terms Which Have Disappeared

Shaking like a dog sh*tting tacks. That's one my dad uses a lot. My parents use that one and a$$ over appetite to mean doing something in an overzealous way. Besides on 'Smokey and the Bandit', I haven't heard it in a coon's age.

I love opera windows, opera lamps, burlwood dashboards, button tufted seats, vinyl tops, hood ornaments, white walls, spoke wheels/hubcaps, and all those goodies.

What time period would you live in, and where, if you had to for one year?

Ah, the Lincoln Mark III. The seventies, cosmetically, not mechanically was the ultimate in luxury for automobiles. The peak of the Brougham era.

http://youtu.be/X1vOQ4Ts2tg I do use that phrase a lot. Not sure why it stuck with me. Maybe because that's my sister's name.

Fireplug is used plenty here. I honestly don't know what else you would call them. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBh-m1yTZS0 Don't forget automobiles. Chevy owners are like cult-members around here.

It's Ma's truck. Well, you don't need the blower attachment and if you don't have a big yard, may I suggest the 5hp Serf? I've been push-mowers bigger than this cute little tractor.
