What time period would you live in, and where, if you had to for one year?

Seasons in the Sun and The Night Chicago Died are both great songs. Still hear them on the oldies stations now and again. No, I have a lot of Classic Country CD's. I'm not big on the long hair, but they did have some good songs.

That song reminds me of being a kid. My dad always liked that one. Have this song on my iPod :p Ballad of Curtis Lowe is their greatest song, in my opinion. Here's another one for Jimmy: http://youtu.be/-ihs-vT9T3Q

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

I'm with you on that one. I always prefer to sit upright, unless taking a nap in my recliner! Oh, I thought maybe GM was offering an 'F-series' now. My Caddy has them in each door, as did my '79 Electra. Definitely a smoker's dream car. Too bad I don't smoke in my vehicles. I always joked...

    Excessive posting? ... Interesting.....

I have no idea. All's I can tell you is their factory is in Port Washington, Wisconsin lol Hippies care about gas mileage and the ones with a job prefer the Prius. You find that kinda thing in California or New York. Besides, I've got enough undesirables around here without hippies, too.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

I'll second that one! That's a terrible idea! I like more light when I'm turning, not less. Cornering lamps have always been the way to go, for the extra lighting. I have no idea why Jeep would do the exact opposite.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

Does yours have a lipstick, instead of a cigarette lighter? Hit the nail on the head, there. My '96 Fleetwood Brougham is the final year they made a body-on-frame, RWD, V8 sedan. I love that car and I haven't been in anything newer that compares. The whole sports car being luxury cars...

Didn't get it that cheap and I bought this animal to haul my car hauler. 496 ci big block an a 5 speed Allison automatic transmission with a transmission brake. It's a towing machine. It's been very tough to find a 3/4 ton standard cab long bed truck. A co-worker spotted this at a...

The IGA in town still offers the option. I miss paper grocery bags.

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

I think the gizmos are more for impressing others than for personal use. I have been shopping for a new truck and just bought one today. I set out to buy one with no cruise, A/C, power windows/seats/locks, or anything. The only options I wanted were red paint, auto transmission, 4x4, and a...

What time period would you live in, and where, if you had to for one year?

I have to quote the movie Wayne's World, here. "Led Zeppelin didn't write tunes that everybody liked, they left that to the Bee Gees."

    What are you wearing today??

Hoping so! The fella I bought from said he believed the gear ratio was in the low 6's.
