    Forbidden items in my home...

My brother doesn't like the term cactus and prefers to call them "don't touchem's"

Ok, so some things in the golden era were not too cool...

My question is where in the heck is the average American worker making over 20 bucks an hour? I'm one of the best paid people at the best paying factory in town and I make a little over 17.

Colorado is where I thought they were all going in the first place.

The TBI 350 is a great motor. I have one awaiting placement in my '51 Ford. There's a gold Caprice bubble sitting in town. My Caddy has the 260hp LT1, as well. It was a lot of horses for the time and it still has a lot of giddy-up-go.

What time period would you live in, and where, if you had to for one year?

Did that with a pipe once. That was the end of that shirt.

Well comparing the Dodge to a Cadillac isn't even a fair fight. I didn't think the LT1 appeared in the Caprice until 1993?

What's something modern you won't miss when it becomes obsolete?

Guilty of nostalgia for the 90's. Moreso for my own childhood and the rural lifestyle in my community at the time. Bronies are a strange bunch. He keeps saying he's too busy.

Well, they did have the 440 for the Monacos.

Waiting on the old man to get the conditional use permit. I can't get that, as I don't own the building.

I've always wanted one just like his. Very sharp color combo.

Hey, when gas goes up is the time to go buy a big block. Get a better deal that way. Just like buying a motorcycle in winter.

Well, yeah. GM's B and D body platforms which were discontinued in '96 come to mind. At least FoMoCo did it right until 2012 with the Panther Platform. As for MoPar, they gave up pretty much right when the gas crisis hit. Even their 'full-size' Diplomats of the 80's just look tiny.

Looks like the one Ray Liotta drove on 'Goodfellas.' Mom calls it the 'Midlife Crisismobile' In case you haven't noticed, I have a thing for cars from 20 or more years ago.

The styling is coming back around, compared to what it used to be. I just wish they were bigger!

This town's going down the crapper fast enough, and I would never sell an import, except maybe a Rolls or some such.

Around here, it's more common to see a house with deer heads on the wall, than without.
