Hi David, and welcome to the Lounge!
Interesting dilemma that you bring up. Personally, I would see no problem with placing the hat on your head as you get your jacket. Many people consider hats and jackets/coats as accessories, so it only makes sense that you are putting them on at the...
I haven't seen the movie, but heard great things about it. I don't have anything to trade though, so if you decide you'd accept monetary exchange, let me know...
Well, from my observations, I think its safe to say that the hats have been pretty evenly mixed throughout. With most of the auction waves thus far, there have been a good variety of hats from different companies, and in different conditions. Course, I haven't paid attention to every auction...
Amazing! That must have been some task to get all those yearbooks online.
I really like the 1946 one...the memorial pages to the Veterans is very nice.
I'd like to get out and see the sights. Go attend a few social gatherings, a few live music events, and just be out and about to see all the cool things of the era: the cars, the hats, whatever really.
I certainly wouldn't get any homework done that day...

I early-voted on Saturday just because otherwise, working voting into my schedule today would have proved to be pretty stressful.
Still, I'm excited for Election Day. Looking forward to following the news tonight.

And that's a great comment to Art too.
Nice save, Feraud...it'll have a better home with you than being used as a Halloween prop. However, interestingly enough, I think it looks a lot like a Halloween hat...it has the right colors, you have to admit.
The most I've spent on a hat was my custom from Art. The next up would be the $130 I spent on an Adam from Johnnyphi. Both the custom and my Adam are now two of my most treasured fedoras, and have spoiled me for anything less quality wise. You just can't beat the care and love that went into...
Interestingly enough, the only people I know who are less than completely enthusiastic about my fedora wearing habits are my parents. This is because when they were growing up, they saw men wearing fedoras only while dressed up with a suit...and since I don't ever wear a suit (though I do...
