Extra DVD of Brick up for trade

To quote myself from an earlier thread, Brick is a wonderful contemporary noir film that stars modern day high school students who talk in a 1940s type gangster lingo. Strange concept, but executed beautifully, and based on what I've seen on the Moving Pictures board here, it does seem to be a local favorite. I've found an extra copy on the cheap for sale and decided to pick it up so I could pass it along.

If you've never seen the film, it's a wonderful addition to your hardboiled noir lineup and a taste of what's to come from what I can only imagine will be a great director. If you've seen it already, then perhaps you'd like to own it.

I'm not expecting much for trade here. I'm willing to trade for a nice tie clip, watch, or anything that strikes me as stylish.

I am the New Kid on the Block around here, so I really have no qualms sending first so that the recipient doesn't have to worry about anything. Send your item after you've popped the movie in the DVD player and looked the case over.

What say you Fedora Lounge?

I haven't seen the movie, but heard great things about it. I don't have anything to trade though, so if you decide you'd accept monetary exchange, let me know...

Right - new users can't send or receive messages until they've made 15 posts. All you need to do is pop around and add comments on about 10 other messages - not too hard to do. "Great hat!" "I'm new here!" "Spiffy outfit!" and the like.

And welcome to the board. I'd never heard of the film and now I'm going to see if I can find it locally. Sounds like an interesting premise.

If nothing works out with anyone else, I have men's cufflinks, tiebars and the like to trade.

So you know, most Loungers try to work with the first person who responded instead of seeing who has the best trade to offer. But that's just my .02.

Welcome to the Lounge!

Thanks for the warm welcomes all. It's good to find a place where a guy can find some reliable fashion advice :) .

For anyone who has never seen the movie but like the way it sounds, you can check out it's trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3cVzHeJ0Z3I

Sure,....here's a couple, A set of Anson cuff links with matching tie bar, or the Swank sword tie bar that I could match with one of the pairs of Anson cuff links.

I'm really loving the Swank sword bar. Throw in a pair of Anson cuff links and you have a deal! I'm partial to the ones without the red jewel bits on the sides. If you'd like to send me your name and address to my email I can have the movie sent out by tomorrow: joeskivincente@yahoo.com .

One thing I forgot to mention is that the DVD is a used copy. Both the case and the disc are in very good shape, but I wanted you to know that in case it makes a difference.

Ah, so I think Maj. Nick Danger has bowed out from trading.

If anyone else would like to trade though, let me know :) .
