Interest in Holiday Hats for Family Members?

As a Lounger who doesn't have any other family members interested in hats, or any kids for that matter, I really can't say I'm the most interested in the idea. However, it sounds like a great idea and I see that a lot of others are interested in the idea. I just expect a brand new thread...

All You Need to Know About Hat Etiquette

In my opinion, I really don't think that's necessary at all. Places such as grocery stores, or malls are very public places and I really don't see the need to take your hat off in a situation like that. I draw the line when the situation becomes more "intimate" or personal. A school, a work...

    Modern/Vintage

I agree with the others here: that's a nice looking retro-ized radio...but surely they could have been more subtle about the USB ports...[huh] On the topic of iPods...I don't have one, but if I did, I would be tempted to get one of those jukeboxes that the ipod plugs into. That would be a...

My first work of Art: Blue beauty!

That's an amazing looking hat, Torpedo! Now I can really see the benefit of getting a blue hat from Art; that color is very rare in vintage hats as others have discussed.

    Post New Hats Here!

That one does look good on you donCarlos. I'd recommend you give it some time to get used to it and if you decide you don't really like it, then you can dissect the sweatband or whatever. You can't get a much better price than you got on that one!

Wear A Hat -- Get Promoted!

Interesting info. Now I'm curious: should I wear my hat to an interview? I've heard most people here say "no", at the risk of hitting things off poorly on behalf of the interviewer or interviewee. Still, one has to wonder... I ask because professional interview time is right...

The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard

My dad's secretary used to comment about how she hated Columbo...she hated his car, his dumb jacket, and his hat. But true, he seldom ever wears his hat.

    Suggestion on Stetson Nostalgia lookalike?

Sounds like a good testimonial to me. Aren't Akubras in general supposed to be pretty durable for wearing in the rain?
