As a Lounger who doesn't have any other family members interested in hats, or any kids for that matter, I really can't say I'm the most interested in the idea. However, it sounds like a great idea and I see that a lot of others are interested in the idea.

In my opinion, I really don't think that's necessary at all. Places such as grocery stores, or malls are very public places and I really don't see the need to take your hat off in a situation like that.
I draw the line when the situation becomes more "intimate" or personal. A school, a work...

That's an amazing looking hat, Torpedo! Now I can really see the benefit of getting a blue hat from Art; that color is very rare in vintage hats as others have discussed.
That one does look good on you donCarlos. I'd recommend you give it some time to get used to it and if you decide you don't really like it, then you can dissect the sweatband or whatever. You can't get a much better price than you got on that one!
Interesting info. Now I'm curious: should I wear my hat to an interview? I've heard most people here say "no", at the risk of hitting things off poorly on behalf of the interviewer or interviewee. Still, one has to wonder...:rolleyes:
