    Aha! I've just read that its only been in development for 5 years! Good eye :) I've found a brand new nail salon in my neighbourhood that does shellacking, and for a fab price. I had a french manicure with a flower design done in shellac for $25 (!!!) I'm thinking of getting all the equipment...

    Slightly OT: It is possible. It would have to be a perfect storm of events, but it is entirely possible. This is why the story is believable: a) Peggy was naive. I don't know exactly how the Pill in the 60's worked, but modern ones take 2-3 weeks to work, and also must be taken religiously...

    I'm one of those obsessive people who must have a white bathroom suite. It comes from my mother: One house we moved into had a pink suite, and it was the first thing she had ripped out. However, if I lived in the Pink Palace... ;)

    I've recently had my nails shellacked for the first time, and its wonderful! Mine are prone to shredding, and this has solved the problem - Not to mention my manicure lasting for 3 weeks! About that article, though... The UV rays from the salon machine giving you a tumour is akin to cellphone...

    Freckles are one of those traits that I like on other people, but not me. I never used to see them much except on my face, but with militant sunblock application, those have *thankfully* faded. I hate them the most on my face because they elicit the usual "ooh, you're such a little sweetie pie"...
