My cousin and I walking through downtown Waikiki after an outrageously good dinner at Morimoto. Wearing my Supernatural Milan from Ecuadorian Panama Hat Co. of NY.
Actually I've mostly been wearing my new Premiere Strat as of late. I've learned that black hats need very regular brushings, especially with my cream colored dog!

Spot cleaning can be done at home. A full cleaning is best done by a professional.
There is a vintage fedoras by decade thread which may be instructive for you. But the size of the brim and the taper in the crown place this hat in...
I really like my Premiere Strat...can't comment on the modern Borsos, other than the very general comment that they don't make em like they used to. Of course neither does Stetson, but my strat is head and shoulders above all the modern hats I've seen as of late.

Partially inspired by, but not a direct response to, per se. Was attempting to comment generally on his mother's idea that fedoras are strictly dressy and "don't match" with the rest of the outfit.
The hat has good proportions on you, but might I gently suggest that black on black is not the best match with a darker forest/olive green top. I've actually been trying to work out more outfits with my new black/black Stratoliner and I'm finding it harder than I would have imagined, primarily...
