    Thanks Peter. I also have a 1979 Honda CB750 Limited Edition = 10th Anniversary model. Agree about the old UJMs. I had a 1970 Triumph Trophy 500 that I rebuilt & rode in 1994 to about 1998, so I know all the expenses & fun there. A Norton Commando was always a dream bike for me....Ride safe...

I actually got patterns & had a shell jacket & trousers made from 100% wool cloth in addition to buying a Jarnigan rig. We had to galvanize & buying 2 uniforms was too expensive...

    Stetson 3X Open Road, 7 1/2

    It's not an Open Road. It is a Stetson Corral = raw edge, 2 ply ribbon. Jimmy the Lid has one & I have a Stetson 25 version. Open Road would have a bound edge & a different ribbon with bow treatment.

    With a little steam you may be able to soften up the straw to do minor tweaking. Basically, once a straw crease is blocked in, that is what it is....
