Akubra Campdraft, best using hats I own. Stands up to the wet, plenty of brim to shade the sun, take out the liner for warmer weather... -

Use a steam iron & a handkerchief between it & the brim. Iron the brim over the edge of the ironing board to put some curl into it. -

Stingiest brim that I own now... Champ featherweight, kasmir finish, no liner, tip sticker with protective layer... slight mothing just visible under the ribbon. Brownish with a dark green ribbon band & binding...2 1/4" brim...still unsure... -

I hear you. I'm coming the other way - all my western hats are 3 1/2 to 4 inched brims so the 2 7/8 is no problem. -

Haven't heard of any. You can email Sam at EA & see his thoughts on another run. You can always send one to Optimo or other hatter to cut it down & redo the edge binding. Rusty has cut down his CD & left it raw edge. I bet if Akubra offered them with 2 3/4" instead of 2 7/8" that 1/8" gone... -
